Hello, my name is Denise Dritsas, Psy.D. and I am a clinical psychologist in practice in Fresno. I offer psychotherapy for the treatment of emotional problems as well as a means to emotional and spiritual growth. I treat adolescents and adults from the full spectrum of diagnostic categories and at all levels of functioning appropriate for out-patient treatment. My areas of special interest and experience include anxiety, depression, eating disorders, dissociative disorders, addiction, and issues associated with loss and childhood abuse. I also conduct psychological evaluations ranging from mental status and screening to in-depth assessments of personality. The dignity and privacy of my clients are a constant priority.
I received my Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the California State University, Fullerton in 1990 and my Master's and Doctorate of Psychology degrees from Alliant University in Fresno in 1993 and 1995, respectively. I have received special training in psychotherapy with people of all levels of functioning without the use of psychotropic medication.
